Minor 7th (♭7)

A minor 7th is an interval of 10 semitones. It has a rich, unresolved quality and is ubiquitous in blues, rock, and jazz. The ♭7 is the defining note of the Mixolydian and Dorian modes (TODO link to mode) and essential to dominant 7th chords.
